‘Charlotte’: First Clip For Animated Film Starring Keira Knightley, Sam Claflin, Helen McCrory, More — TIFF

Charlotte, an animated movie to which Helen McCrory contributed her voice  is getting its world premiere today at the Toronto Film Festival.

Keira Knightley leads the brilliant cast including Brenda Blethyn, Jim Broadbent, Sam Claflin, Henry Czerny, Eddie Marsan, the late Helen McCrory, Sophie Okonedo, and Mark Strong.

The Canada-France-Belgium animated drama depicts the true story of Charlotte Salomon, a young German-Jewish artist who comes of age on the eve of the Second World War and defies incredible odds to create a timeless masterpiece.

On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, the University College School Hampstead’s graduation began proceedings by remembering Helen McCrory and her powerful message to pupils in 2018 with a narration of her speech by Damian today, speaking to the graduates remotely. UCS Hampstead supports Sir HvH Arts Foundation with their outreach, a foundation near and dear to Helen and now Damian is the Patron for Sir HvH Arts.  For more information about Helen’s UCS speech back in 2018, click here. They have been enjoying wedded bliss for more than twelve years.

And Damian Lewis and his wife Helen McCrory looked every inch the sophisticated couple as they attended the 65th annual Evening Standard Theatre Awards held at The London Coliseum on Sunday.

The Homeland actor, 48, looked dapper at the star-studded event, donning a black blazer and matching trousers with a crisp white shirt and a black bow tie.
