Respectively they have built outstanding careers in the entertainment industry.
But it seems like their conflicting busy schedules is starting to take a toll on their marriage.
Making an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine on Monday, Helen McCrory, 47, joked that she has not seen her husband Damian Lewis, 45, properly for a year.
Asked by Lorraine Kelly how things were at home, Helen admitted she was ‘lucky’ to be able to juggle motherhood with her successful career.
Then when questioned about her relationship with Damian, she said: ‘My lovely man is very well. He’s back, he’s just been out filming doing Billions in New York.’
A picture of the couple, who wed in 2007, then popped up on the monitor and McCrory quipped: ‘There he is! Just to prove that we are married. That’s the last time we saw each other last March.
‘That was shoved in between a few very busy schedules.’

In the interview with Lorraine, Helen spoke about how much upset choosing between raising her children or being an actress would’ve caused her if it were a decision she was ever faced with.
She asserted: ‘I’m very lucky, I think it’d be very hard to choose between motherhood and work’.
McCrory also revealed that she’d love to play M in Bond especially if her husband becomes the next 007, she giggled: ‘Family and work together’.
Speaking about why she initially joined the campaign, she said: ‘I became involved when I realised I wasn’t immortal so this appeals to all of us at home, we’re all going to go.
‘I became involved when a friend of mine, it actually someone who was very young and they were helped for seven months, and the care was amazing.’
